Karen Kei (Hong Kong)

Karen Kei is an independent art creator. She grew up in the United States and returned to Hong Kong after graduating from university. Although specializing in business management, due to his love for artistic creation, Karen Kei devoted himself to the artistic creation of humanoid dolls in 2014 and created a unique style of humanoid dolls in just a few years.

In 2017, the first art toy design image Yoyi & Jr.W. was released. Inspired by the creation of humanoid dolls, the original character Babedu will be released in 2020. In addition to developing original character art toys, Karen Kei's creation also extends to art sculptures. This work interprets the contradiction between the real world and the dream world through the hand-painted and artistic techniques of different media.
